My career path has been anything but a straight line. Starting out of school in investment banking, I worked tirelessly to learn quick, deliver results, and challenge the status quo. I pivoted into accounting and finance search where I met thousands of professionals in the space and ultimately, after six and half years, took an operational leadership position with a start-up where I collaborated with marketing, product, analytics, and engineering. With over a decade of professional Chicagoland connections and this mix of experience, I've launched The Lattice Group to provide candidates and clients with a professional and highly communicative search experience. I am thrilled to partner with candidates and clients to create matches that allow companies and individuals to grow faster together than they could apart. Many people say they fall into recruiting, but that's only half true for me. I was originally on the path to a career in marketing, but after taking a human resources psychology class in business school, I fell in love with HR and never looked back. In my first job out of college as an HR Generalist, I found myself more drawn to searching and matching talent instead of benefits and policy creation for the organization. Eventually, I was recruited by the global staffing agency, Adecco, not for an HR role, but to become a Technical Recruiter. I spent six years in agency search before moving in-house at the Chicago startup, Sprout Social then Yello and most recently Flume Health. Startup recruiting has been an extremely fulfilling chapter in my career.
After nine years of recruiting in-house with successful start-ups, I am excited to take all of my people experience to The Lattice Group. |
